S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUn) 199 <br />CDBG, HOME and ESG Programs and is providing affected c1tlzensan <br />opportunity to examine its contents and to submit comments on the <br />proposed 199~ Consolidated/Action Plan. <br /> <br />COMMON~TY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM <br /> <br />The County of Hawai'i has been informed by HUn that the County's <br />total 199 CDBG allocation is $ The County plans to <br />utilize these funds for the following projects: <br /> <br />CDBG Pro;ects <br /> <br />Amount <br /> <br />Acquisition/Construction <br /> <br />Total <br /> <br />$ <br /> <br />$ <br />$ <br />$ <br /> <br />Renovation & Restoration <br /> <br />Planning & Administration <br /> <br />Based on the proposed 199 CDBG projects, the OHcn estimates that <br />percent or $ in COBG grant funds will benefit low and <br />moderate income persons in accordance with CnBG regulations. <br /> <br />HOME ~NVESTMENT PARTNERSH~PS (HOME) PROGRAM <br /> <br />The State of Hawai'i is required to submit its 199_ Action Plan <br />to HUn for the 199 HOME Program. It is anticipated that the <br />State will continue to divide the HOME funds among the three <br />neighbor island counties.
