AND MRS. BILL Y BERGIN. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in preparation for the 1998 Old Hawaii on Horseback Pageant, Dr. amd Mrs. Billy Bergin <br />constructed 5 (five) bleachers; amd <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. Billy Bergin wish to donate the five bleachers to the County of Hawaii to be <br />housed and maintained at the Waimea soccer field for County use, and for use for future Old Hawaii on Horseback <br />Pageants; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the retail value of the five bleachers is seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on beh31f of the <br />County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property. <br /> <br />Dated at Hilo, Hawaii this 1st day of <br /> <br />June <br /> <br />, 1998. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF'THE COUNIY OF HAWAII that in <br />accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii is authorized to accept the <br />donation of five bleachers froni Dr. andMrs.Billy Bergin to be housed and maintained at the Waimea ~occer field for <br />County use, and for use for future Old Hawaii on Horseback Pageants.
