<br /> <br />m . --"-7- .'-"'-'.._~"--'-' ---.....,..- --...........-..-.......-.. ---.-..-..____ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TAMoF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY OF HAWAII TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, PURSUANT.TO HRS 46-7, FOR A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/SEXUAL <br />ASSAULT TRAINING GRANT. <br /> <br />, WHEREAS, the United States of America through the State Department of the <br />Attorney General Crime Prevention and Justice Assistance Division, is desirous of <br />providing funding to conduct training and provide supplies for the department's first <br />line supervisors and detectives in domestic violence and sexual assault <br />investigations; and train additional sexual assault nurses; and. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Police Department 1s ready and willing to proceed <br />with its obligations under the Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Grant; <br /> <br />,.. ~. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 46-7 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, the <br />Federal government may enter into agreements with the Council of the County of Hawaii <br />providing the expenditures or receipt of funds or for other assistance; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />the Honorable Stephen K.
