EQUIPMENT (CAMERA, LAMINATOR, AND DIE CUTTER) FROM THE CHEVRON <br />COMPANIES. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Chevron Companies, whose Coordinator is Dave Young, <br />has donated two sets of Keiki 1.D. equipment (camera, laminator i and die <br />cutter) to the Hawaii Police Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the retail value of the equipment is three thousand <br />dollars ($3,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter <br />provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or <br />donations of personal property; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE COUNTY OF <br />HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii <br />County Charter, the Hawaii Police Department is authorized to accept the <br />donation of Keiki I.D. equipment from The ,Chevron Companies. <br /> <br />Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 19th day of AUQUst <br /> <br />INTRODUCED BY: <br /> <br />, 1998. <br /> <br />..~ <br /> <br />COUNCIL MEMBER, COUNTY' OF HAWAII <br /> <br />COUNTY COUNCIL. <br />, .
