No. 697 /Res. 299 -10 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 299 -10, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 299 -10, transmitted by Director of Finance Nancy Crawford, via Communication <br />No. 697, dated February 3, 2010, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of <br />more than one fiscal year for a multi -year lease for a copy machine. <br />The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney wishes to enter into a five -year lease contract for a copy <br />machine for the Kona Office. Their current copier requires frequent service calls and cannot <br />handle the large volume of covering two Circuit Courts, one District Court and one Family <br />Court. It has been determined to be more cost effective to lease rather than purchase a <br />multifunctional copier that includes advanced technology and will improve the overall efficiency <br />of the office.
