REPORT OF THE <br />COMMITTEE ON PLANNING <br />DATE: February 2, 2010 Re: Comm. 677 <br />PLACE: Councilroom <br />Hawai.`i County Building <br />25 Aupuni Street <br />Hilo, Hawaii <br />TIME: <br />4:17 p.m. <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 677, reports as follows: <br />Communication No. 677, transmitted by Mayor Billy Kenoi, dated January 8, 2010, requested <br />confirmation of the appointment of Joe Reynolds of Council District 8 to the County of Hawaii Water <br />Board, to serve a term ending on December 31, 2011. <br />There was no public testimony regarding the appointments. Mr. Reynolds was present for the meeting via <br />video-conferencing from the Kona Council office. <br />Mr. Reynolds introduced himself and stated his interest in serving on the Water Board. Committee <br />members thanked Mr. Reynolds for stepping up and accepting the position on the Water Board.
