O knot <br />C,) <br />SUBJECT:TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT N <br />ALE ROAD <br />25 MPH SPEED LIMIT <br />We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1 (Speed Limits), <br />Section 24 -255, Schedule 3 (25 mile per hour limit), paragraph (g) be amended by <br />adding new item: <br />u ALE ROAD. <br />The County of Hawaii has an easement for Ale Road and maintains the portion that is a <br />part of the Puna Emergency Access Road (PEAR). It was determined that having this <br />easement provides a degree of county ownership that would warrant this amendment to <br />the Hawai'i County Code. <br />A location map is attached for your reference. <br />â– clivac <br />Warren H.W.
