P <br />In accordance with (1) Article XIII, Section 13 -12, of the Hawaii County Charter, which <br />authorizes the Council, on behalf of the County, to accept gifts or donations of personal <br />property, and with (2) Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2 -162 (c), of the Hawaii County Code, <br />which states that any donation or gift which does not fall within the capitalization procedures <br />of the department of finance shall be submitted to the council by letter for its approval, we <br />request the Council's approval of the following donation: <br />A monetary donation of $50 to the Department of Parks & Recreation, to be used to <br />improve facilities at the Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo & Gardens, by The Fraternal Order of <br />Eagles - Hilo Hawaii Aerie #3642, Richard J.
