<br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND <br />OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI~YEAR LEASE FOR A COpy MACHINE <br /> <br />- - <br />- " " <br />WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or <br />other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a laterJiscal year be ' <br />approved by resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year lease with <br />cancellation option for three (3)years for one (1) copy machine for,the Kona Office of the <br />Prosecuting AttorneY; and. . <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to the frequent downtime caused by the present aging equipment, <br />the Kana staff have had to tolerate lostman-hours due to machine malfunctions as well as <br />frequent inconveniences; and <br /> <br />.'. ,WHEREAS, the acquisitiqn of thisrTlachine ,will reduce downtime, thereby improving <br />productivity and .efficiency of the; Kana office stClff. . , " <br /> <br /> <br />< .. .','" <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE;D' BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br />HAWAII: <br /> <br />i.
