II, . -~-~._.~..,-----,.__.__._-"'.._-;-------- .----- -'-- ---, -~-------~-._- _.~._- , WHEREAS, John Santangelo has been a Council Member of the County of Hawai'i since December 2, 1996, representing Council District 6, Upper Puna, Ka'u and South Kona; and WHEREAS, during these past two years, Councilmember Santangelo has served as Chairman ofthe Hawai'i County Housing Agency; and WHEREAS, during' his tenure, Councilmember Santangelo has also been a standing member of numerous Stailding Committees; and WHEREAS, CouncilmemberSantangelo's dedication, commitment, integrity, enthusiasm, and many initiatives to expand volunteer fire department service and public safety throughout his district have marked his legislative term and provided quality service to our community; and WHEREAS, Councilmember Santangelo will complete his term on December 7, 1998. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAW AI'I that it hereby extends its sincere gratitude to Councilmember Santangelo for his years of valuable service together with their best wishes for continued health, success and prosperity.
