The <br /> Executive Summary narratives are optional. <br /> Narrative Responses <br /> P X^ h v i ri,Y j `K r g P axv ar` G [ trp Eli <br /> Executive Summary <br /> The Executive Summary is required. Include the objectives and outcomes identified <br /> in the plan and an evaluation of past performance. <br /> Program Year 1 Action Plan Executive Summary: <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM <br /> The County of Hawai'i's total 2010 CDBG allocation is $2,500,000.00. The County <br /> also anticipates receiving $25,000 of additional program income from the Residential <br /> Emergency Repair Program for a total $2,525,000.00 of CDBG monies. To meet the <br /> County's five (5) year Consolidated Plan's, Objectives and Outcomes, the projects <br /> listed below will be included in the 2010 Action Plan. <br /> The CDBG project amount for the Removal of Architectural Barriers - Various County <br /> Facilities, Residential Emergency Repair Program and Panaewa Park New Covered <br /> Play Courts may change to accommodate the actual amount of grant funds or <br /> program income received or if there are any cancelled project(s) or reprogramming <br /> of CDBG funds. In its efforts to expedite and timely implement its projects, the <br /> public is advised that the County of Hawaii may utilize County funds to incur pre - <br /> award cost under the CDBG program that will not exceed 25% of current CDBG <br /> allocation. This is in accordance with the CDBG regulations 24 CFR 570.200(h)1), <br /> Reimbursement for pre -award costs. <br /> 2010 CDBG Protects Amount <br /> Hospice of Hilo - In- Patient Facility Construction $ 700,000.00 <br /> Residential Emergency Repair Program $ 200,000.00 <br /> Easter Seals Hawai' i - Facility Expansion $ 400,000.00 <br /> Pahala Fire Station - Fire Tanker Acquisition $ 250,000.00 <br /> First Program Year Action Plan 1 Version 2.0 <br />
