Mr. Gauthier is a 12 -year resident of Hawai'i. From 2001 to 2009, <br />he worked as a business agent for the ILWU Local 142 and from 1997 to 2001, as a <br />bartender at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. <br />Mr. Gauthier presently serves as a member of the Hawaii Home Ownership Council. <br />His community service includes past membership with Big Island Housing Foundation, <br />Kohala Community Workers Outreach, and Hamakua Filipino Centennial Publicity. <br />Mr. Gauthier states that he is a Democrat.
