BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />This donation is offered from the Sayre Foundation to Hawaii Fire Department's Ocean Safety division. The <br />donated equipment consists of 4 Zoll AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) for $6270.00, 6 Surftech <br />rescue surfboards $5364.32, 9 Recreonics megaphones $1340.22, and 6 Nikon binoculars $818.09 all new. <br />These items will provide needed equipment to facilitate the delivery of safety services, preventive actions <br />and basic emergency life support by Water Safety Officers. <br />epartment Head <br />DATE: MAR 2 2 2010 <br />
