Kenoi, dated February 23, 2010, nominate Ms. Michelle Kualii and Ms. Thelma -Rose Pea- Ferrari to the Hawai`i County Police Commission. Ms. Kualii is a 41 -year resident of the island of Hawai`i. She is employed as an office manager, and presently serves as the Prersident of the Keaukaha Warrior Football Association. She states that she is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, she will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2015, replacing Louis Kaoiwi whose term expired on December 31, 2009. Ms. Pea- Ferrari is a 31 -year resident of Hawaii, and is the owner of Big Island Satellite. She states that she is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, she will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2015, replacing Karolyn Lundkvist whose term expired on December 31, 2008. It was agreed upon that Ms. Michelle Kualii and Ms. Thelma -Rose K. Pea- Ferrari does not need to appear before the full Council meeting. For informational purposes, Council Member Brenda J. Ford voted kanalua twice.
