This certificate is furnished in compliance with Chapter 19, Article 11, Section 19- • • 90(d) of the Hawaii County Code, as amended. The total value of net taxable real property is $25,518,842,894. This amount is $2,632,580,672 lower than the previous year. This represents a 9.35 percent decrease compared to the previous tax year. The estimated gross value of new residential construction is $378,857,400 and commercial construction is $19,904,400. A total of 1,034 appeals were filed, as compared to 1,439 in the previous year. The amount in dispute is $425,783,013 compared to $722,389,472 in the previous year. Enclosed please find details of the assessed valuations by zones, classes of property, exemptions and appeals.
