No. 736 /Res. 309 -10 <br />Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred <br />Communication 736 and Resolution 309 -10, reports as follows: <br />Resolution 309 -10, transmitted via Communication No. 736 from Council Member Brenda Ford, <br />dated March 4, 2010, urges Hawai`i State Legislators to oppose any proposed legislation <br />legalizing gambling in the State of Hawaii. <br />There were no public testifiers. <br />Council Member Brenda Ford stated she had been approached by the League of Women Voters <br />and other organizations to draft this resolution.
