No. 761 /Res. No. 319 -10 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 319 -10, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 319 -10, transmitted by Legislative Auditor Colleen M'. Schrandt, via Communication <br />No. 761, dated March 19, 2010, transfers funds as follows: <br />Clerk - Council Services OCE, Misc. Contract Service General $7,000 <br />Adjustment - GF <br />To: <br />010.108.5108.15 External Audit, Misc. Contract Services General $7,000 <br />Fund - GF <br />Pursuant to Section 10 -13 of the Hawai`i County Charter, the County Council shall provide at least <br />once every year for an independent audit of the County's accounts and financial transactions. <br />Supplemental Agreement No. 4 of Contract No. 000756 was approved by the Council and funds <br />certified for $7,000 from the Clerk - Council Services OCE, Miscellaneous Contract Services account <br />on October 27, 2008. <br />Pursuant to Section 3 -18 of the Hawai`i County Charter, the Legislative Auditor's Office is established <br />as an independent audit function within the Legislative Branch. The budgeted and encumbered <br />additional funds for the annual external audit will be transferred from the Clerk- Council Services' <br />External Audit Miscellaneous Contract Services account to the newly established Legislative Auditor's <br />External Audit Miscellaneous Contract Services account. <br />FC Rept.
