Watson • <br /> Request: RS -15 to RS -10 <br /> Tax Map Key: 2 -4 -21:31 <br /> The Windward Planning Commission, after a duly held public hearing on April 1, 2010, voted to <br /> recommend for your approval the proposed legislative bill for a Change of Zone from Single <br /> Family Residential — 15,000 square feet (RS -15) to Single Family Residential - 10,000 square <br /> feet (RS -10) for 20,393 square feet of land. The property is located at the southeastern corner of <br /> Haihai Street and Likeke Street, across from the Hilo Municipal Golf Course, Waiakea, South <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i. <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the request: <br /> The applicants are requesting a Change of Zone from Single - Family Residential - <br /> 15,000 square feet (RS -15) to Single - Family Residential - 10,000 square feet (RS -10) for <br /> approximately 20,393 square feet of land to subdivide the property into two lots. Each lot <br /> will be approximately 10,195 square feet in size and will retain an existing single - family <br /> dwelling. Upon approval of the change of zone, the applicants will apply for subdivision <br /> approval immediately.
