TRAINING PROPOSAL <br /> The Hawaii County Office of Aging proposes to use the $6,000 <br /> training grant by sponsoring aging network personnel to the Tenth <br /> Biennial Hawaii Pacific Gerontological Conference. The <br /> conference is scheduled to be held at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel <br /> on October 29-30, 1998. <br /> The average sponsorship will be approximately $300 per person for <br /> approximately 20 individuals. The cost will include various <br /> combinations of registration, air travel, and per diem. There <br /> <br /> will be individuals that could will be getting partial subsidies <br /> from their programs and there will be individuals that will have <br /> their full cost covered. <br /> PROPOSED BUDGET <br /> $100 (rd. trip airfare) x 20 individuals $2,000 <br /> $125 (registration fee) x 20 individuals 2,500 <br /> $180 (per diem) x 9 individuals 1.500 <br /> Total $6,000 <br /> <br />
