(A) Be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all garage, shop, and <br /> automotive equipment of the County, except such equipment as may be <br /> more practically maintained by the department having control thereof as <br /> determined by the Transportation Administrator; <br /> (B) Furnish parts, accessories, gasoline, lubricants, and tires necessary for <br /> the repair for automobiles, trucks, shovels, cranes, graders, sweepers, <br /> compressors, and other such machinery or equipment; and <br /> (C) Be authorized to bill any department, agency, or special fund for supplies, <br /> services, and use of equipment. <br /> The [mass transit] transportation administrator shall be under the direct supervision and <br /> control of the managing director and shall have the authority to staff the agency with <br /> necessary personnel to carry out the purposes of the agency. <br /> (1975, Ord. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application <br /> thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect <br /> other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the <br /> invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are <br /> declared to be severable. <br /> SECTION 5.
