REQUEST: <br /> Prepare a resolution for Council's authorization to accept 16 coqui frog sprayers and 9 trailers from the <br /> United States Department of Agriculture Wildlife Services (USDA WS) for use in the County's coqui frog <br /> community loan sprayer program. The sprayers and trailers are detailed in the attached schedule prepared <br /> by USDA WS. The sprayers are trailer- mounted and were purchased at a total cost of $83,089.50. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The sprayers were part of the USDA WS community loan sprayer program which was discontinued in April <br /> 2009 due to lack of funding. USDA WS is transferring the sprayers to the County to continue the loan <br /> sprayer program.
