4o., O F N �� <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> M <br /> 'AT GF •� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 359 10 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A VEHICLE FOR THE <br /> HAWAII FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Foundation is donating a 1981 Chevrolet Blazer K -5 to <br /> the Hawaii Fire Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, this vehicle, valued at $1,175, will be assigned to the West Hawaii Ocean Safety <br /> Division and will facilitate the delivery of safety services, preventive actions, and basic emergency life <br /> support by the Water Safety Officers; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13 -12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on <br /> behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department recommends the acceptance of this donation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13 -12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of <br /> Hawai'i accepts this donation. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this resolution be sent to <br /> the Ms. Laura Mallery- Sayre, Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Foundation, P.O.
