•J <br /> • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 365 10 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A SIX FOOT BENCH <br /> FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Franklin E. Zimring is donating a six foot bench to the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation and it is to be installed at Richardson Ocean Park; and <br /> WHEREAS, this plastic bench has an estimated total value of $1,252; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13 -12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on <br /> behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this <br /> donation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13 -12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of <br /> Hawaii accepts this generous donation. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Mr. Franklin E.
