No. 836 /Res. 349 -10 <br /> PLACE: Hawai`i County Building <br /> 25 Aupuni Street <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> TIME: 9:10 A.M. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred <br /> Resolution 349 -10, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution 349 -10, transmitted via Communication No. 836 on May 26, 2010, from Deputy <br /> Corporation Counsel Gerald Takase, authorizes the abandonment and exchange of road remnant <br /> "A" for lot 3B -5, situate at Ahualoa Homesteads, District of Hamakua, Island and County of <br /> Hawaii, State of Hawai`i. <br /> There were no public testifiers. <br /> Councilmember Dominic Yagong interviewed Deputy Corporation Counsel Gerald Takase who <br /> explained the details of this property exchange. The owners are allowing a direct exchange, <br /> even though the County acquires more land than is being surrendered.
