(10) Amending Section 202. Section 202 is amended by adding the following <br />definitions to read as follows: <br />"CERTIFICATION. As used herein, the word certify shall mean an <br />expression of the licensed professional's opinion to the best of its <br />information, knowledge, and belief, and does not constitute a warranty or <br />guarantee. <br />FULLY SHADED WINDOWS, windows protected from direct solar <br />heat gain by a projection factor of no less than 1.0 projection shall be <br />oriented such that the full window is shaded year round." <br />(11) Amending Section 301.1. Section 301.1 is amended to read: <br />"301.1 General. Hawaii County, in its entirety, shall be Climate Zone 1." <br />(12) Deleting Sections 301.2 and 301.3. <br />Sections 301.2 and 301.3 are deleted. <br />(13) Deleting Figure 301.1, Table 301.1, Table 301.3(1) and Table 301.3(2). <br />Figure 301.1, Table 301.1, Table 301.3(1) and Table 301.3(2) are <br />deleted. <br />(14) Amending Section 401.3. The first sentence of Section 401.3 is amended <br />to read as follows: <br />"When required by the code official, a permanent certificate shall be <br />posted on or in the electrical distribution panel." <br />(15) Adding Sections 402. 1. 1. 1 through 402.1.1.8 and Section 402.1.1.8.1. <br />Sections 402.1.1.lthrough 402.1.1.8 and Section 402.1.1.8.1 are added to <br />read as follows: <br />"402.1.1.1 Ceiling insulation alternative. Insulation requirements for <br />ceilings in unconditional habitable spaces constructed in Hawaii County <br />climate zone shall meet one of the design options in Table 402.1.1.1. <br />402.1.1.2 Definitions. For the purpose of this section, the following terms <br />shall be defined as follows: <br />
