Section 7 of Bill 269 repeals Article 3 of Chapter 17 of the Hawai`i County Code, which is replaced by a new Article 3 (Section 8 of Bill 269). Article 3 pertains to the adoption of the Uniform Plumbing Code 2006 Edition (UPC). Article 3 further provides for amendments to the contents of the UPC (items 1 -36). Those amendments to the UPC are cleanly incorporated into Bill 269, as they would appear in the County Code should Bill 269 be enacted as an ordinance. For illustrative purposes only, the amendments to the UPC, as provided in Section 8 of Bill 269 (codified as section 17 -47 of the County Code), are indicated below via Ramseyer format. NOTE: Section 412.0, Table 4 -1, and Table A are all proposed for deletion (item (6) herein). This section and tables were not included in this memorandum as bracketed and stricken through indicating deletion. To view this material, please see UPC pages 33 -38. The amendments to the Uniform Plumbing Code 2006 Edition, as contained in Section 8 of Bill 269, read as follows (material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken through, material to be added is underscored): Amending Section 204.0.
