Article 3 pertains to the adoption of <br />the Uniform Plumbing Code 2006 Edition (UPC). Article 3 further provides for <br />amendments to the contents of the UPC (items 1 -36). <br />Those amendments to the UPC are cleanly incorporated into Bill 269, as they would <br />appear in the County Code should Bill 269 be enacted as an ordinance. <br />For illustrative purposes only, the amendments to the UPC, as provided in Section 8 of <br />Bill 269 (codified as section 17 -47 of the County Code), are indicated below via <br />Ramseyer format. <br />NOTE: Section 412.0, Table 4 -1, and Table A are all proposed for deletion (item (6) <br />herein). This section and tables were not included in this memorandum as bracketed and <br />stricken through indicating deletion. To view this material, please see UPC pages 33 -38. <br />The amendments to the Uniform Plumbing Code 2006 Edition, as contained in Section 8 <br />of Bill 269, read as follows (material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken through, <br />material to be added is underscored): <br />Amending Section 204.0. Section 204.0 is amended by amending the <br />definition of "Building Drain" to read: <br />"Building Drain — That part of the lowest piping of a drainage system <br />that receives the discharge from soil, waste, and other drainage pipes <br />Comm- No. • 7 C. <br />Ref.
