No. 331 -10 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Hotel <br /> 78 -128 `Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua -Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 5:33 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> The Committee on Public Safety and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Resolution <br /> No. 331 -10, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 331 -10, transmitted by Council Member Kelly Greenwell, via Communication <br /> No. 794, dated April 21, 2010, is a resolution to strongly urge the 2011 State Legislature to <br /> prohibit riding in the back of open bed pickup trucks and encourage our fellow county councils <br /> to join this effort.. <br /> Council Member Brenda Ford expressed her concern regarding the sitting on the tail gate of the <br /> truck, or on the side, or standing in the back of the cab of the truck.
