Lee, via Communication <br /> No. 861 dated July 9, 2010, requests Ilawai`i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, <br /> Division 1 (Speed Limits) be amended to implement three changes to posted speed limits along <br /> Puainako Street. <br /> Department of Public Works Traffic Division Chief Ron Thiel was present to explain how traffic <br /> is studied and appropriate speed limits assigned to these specific locations. Many factors <br /> determine appropriate speed, not the least of which is driver behavior.
