; M t Y ' Oi H , • • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I - •i6'.- STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> . <br /> OF <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 384 10 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A MONETARY DONATION OF <br /> $10,000 TO THE HAWAII POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, Nexle, LLC. is providing a $10,000 donation to the Hawaii Police Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the funds will be used to upgrade the department's website and make it ADA <br /> compliant; and <br /> WHEREAS, it will contain various departmental forms for the public to use and contain critical <br /> information on public safety issues; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13 -12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, <br /> on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Police Department recommends the acceptance of this donation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13 -12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the <br /> County of Hawaii accepts the $10,000. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this resolution be sent <br /> to Nixie, LLC., 3000 Atrium Way, Suite 102, Mt.
