SECTION 6. Chapter 9, article 2, section 9 -8 of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) is amended to read as follows: Section 9 -8. Right of entry. Chapter 9, article 2, section 9 -9 of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) is amended to read as follows: Section 9 -9. Inspections. All fees required by this chapter shall be paid by the permit applicant prior to the energizing or use of such wiring. (c) No serving agency shall supply or cause or permit to be supplied, permanent electric energy to any electric [wiring] service until the [wiring] service has been inspected and approved [, and all codc and permit requirements of thc Hawai`i County Codc relating to Building (chapter 5), Electricity (chapter 9), Affordable Housing (chapter 11), Plumbing (chapter 17), and Outdoor Lighting (chapter 11, article 9) applicable to thc use and/or structure have been satisfied.] by the authority having jurisdiction.
