Of the four <br /> Councilmembers on the Committee, only I attended after the initial meeting, along with invited members <br /> of the community. The interest in creating a project was somewhat divided and generally minimal, with <br /> an average of only six or seven attendees per meeting. To summarize, the repeated concern was that there <br /> was no agreed upon objective which actually was supposed to be established by the attendees and never <br /> was. <br /> Therefore, with an increasingly disinterested private sector, no attendance or involvement by other <br /> Councilmembers, and my leaving the Council in December, I have chosen to disband the Ad -Hoc <br /> Committee as of this date. <br /> My personal analysis of the effort is that it is potentially worthy of being continued, probably under <br /> another format such as a not for profit organization. <br /> If those involved from the private sector community organizations agree, this concept can be discussed at <br /> our final public meeting on October 25, 2010. <br /> Please place this on the Planning Committee Agenda for the October 19, 2010 meeting. <br /> KG /dh <br /> Cow* No." S () • Z <br /> Ref.
