Kenoi, dated <br /> September 9, 2010,presents a Change of Zone Request by Kevin Ken Akiyama, at Waiakea, South <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i, covered by Tax Map Key: 2-4-032:012. <br /> Bill No. 301 seeks to amend Section 25-8-33 (City of Hilo Zone Map),Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning <br /> Code) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition), by changing the district classification from <br /> Agricultural—Three Acres (A-3a)to Family-Agricultural—One Acre (FA-la), for an area of <br /> approximately 5.00 acres. <br /> There was no public testimony. Applicant was present at the meeting. <br /> Council Chair J Yoshimoto informed your Committee that he was familiar with the area. Council <br /> Chair Yoshimoto stated that the rezoning request was appropriate for the area, and that the request <br /> had his full support.
