.., ... <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII - • _6 -'' ''' /:•I STATE OF HAWAII <br /> • V <br /> BILL 296 ) <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 10 105 Der 2 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 <br /> (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this amendment is to provide a parent pick- <br /> up/drop-off area for the students attending the adjacent Montessori School. Future school plans <br /> include an on -site pick -up /drop -off area. The on- street facility related to this code amendment <br /> will serve in the interim, until the permanent facility is completed. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section 24- 288.1, schedule 36.1 (Active <br /> loading and unloading zones), paragraph (f), Kona, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 <br /> Edition, as amended), is amended by adding the following, to be appropriately numbered and to <br /> read as follows: <br /> "( ) Manawale`a Street, south side, beginning from a point three hundred <br /> twelve feet west of Kealakaa Street and extending forty -eight feet in <br /> the westerly direction, for a period not to exceed fifteen minutes, <br /> from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on school <br /> days." <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and stricken material <br /> and underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person <br /> or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br />
