No. 29 /Bill No. 8 <br />PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa <br />78 -128 `Ehukai Street <br />Kailua -Kona, Hawaii 96740 <br />TIME: 9:00 <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred, Bill No. 8, <br />reports as follows: <br />Bill 8, transmitted by the Director of Public Works Warren Lee, via Communication No. 29, <br />dated December 10, 2010, requests the Hawaii County Code 1983, (2005 Edition, as Amended), <br />Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 4, Section 24 -276, Schedule 24 (Crosswalks), Subsection (c) <br />South Hilo, be amended by adding new item: <br />(j Waianunue Avenue, fronting the Yukio Okutsu Veterans Home <br />Council Member Ikeda spoke in support of this item commenting that this is in his district, and <br />addresses a real traffic safety concern.
