Kenoi, via Communication No. 25, dated December <br />10, 2010, is an Ordinance amending Section 25 -8 -3 (City of Hilo Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter <br />25, (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition), by changing the District <br />classification from Agricultural -Three Acres (A -3a) to Residential and Agricultural- One Acre <br />(RA -IA) at Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii, covered by Tax Map Key 2 -2- 051:015. <br />Councilmember Ford asked the applicants to explain what they intended to do with the property. <br />On behalf of the applicant, Lori Mickelson and Jenny Rossa explained that they planned on <br />dividing the lots with the intention to sell them. <br />Hawaii County Planning Director Bobby Jean Leithead Todd stated that the request has a <br />positive recommendation from her department. <br />Your Committee on Planning is in accordance with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 3 and <br />recommends it pass first reading. <br />djh <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />COMMITTEE ON PLANNING <br />i <br />^ <br />A11 +PETE HOFFMANN, Cf- I PC REPORT _?
