No. 981 /13ill No. 314 <br />PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa (2008-2010) <br />78 -128 `Ehukai Street <br />Kailua -Kona, HI <br />TIME: 11:26 am <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 314, reports as follows: <br />Bill No. 314, transmitted by Director of Finance Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 981, dated <br />October 13, 2010, amends Ordinance No. 10 -59, as amended, the Operating Budget of the County of <br />Hawaii, ending June 30, 2011. The amendment is as follows: <br />From: <br />3305.67 State Grants - Domestic Violence Strategic Plan General $10,000 <br />To: <br />010.271.5271.82 State Grants - Domestic Violence Strategic Plan General $10,000 <br />The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney was awarded a $50,000 grant from the Hawai'i State Coalition <br />Against Violence (HSCADV), whose mission is to ensure the safety and protection of women in intimate <br />relationships by coordinating domestic violence prevention and intervention services. These funds will be <br />used to implement the "Navigating a Course for Peace, Domestic Violence Strategic Plan for 2007 - 2010" <br />in Hawai'i County. Of the $50,000, $40,000 has already been appropriated.
