No. 239-00 <br /> <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 11:00 A.M. <br /> <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 239-00, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 239-00, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via <br /> Communication No. 723, dated March 24, 2000, deletes the Equipment Operator III position and <br /> creates a Laborer II position for the Highways Division of the Department of Public Works. <br /> As the Equipment Operator III position has been vacant since April 1998, and with new types of <br /> equipment that are capable of doing multiple tasks the position is no longer needed.
