Gonzalez <br />Deputy Director <br />c_ <br />rte; <br />We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, article 8, division 3 (Stopping for <br />Loading and Unloading), section 24 -210 (hours of freight loading zones; schedule), <br />subsection (a) be amended to read as follows: <br />(a) The provisions regarding freight oufb loading zones shall be applicable only <br />between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to AND 4:00 p.m. of any day, except Sundays <br />and public holidays..., UNLESS OTHERWISE DESCRIBED IN SCHEDULE 36, <br />SECTION 24 -288. When the provisions are not in effect, vehicles may park in <br />freight sorb loading zones unless otherwise prohibited by this chapter. <br />This amendment is necessary to address a need to provide more flexibility on when <br />loading and unloading activities can take place throughout the day. <br />APPROVED <br />Nft�44AD- <br />Warren H.W.
