W. Lee, via <br /> Communication No. 74, dated January 19, 2011, amends the Hawai`i County Code 1983, (2005 <br /> Edition, as Amended), Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section 24 -288, schedule 36 (freight <br /> loading zones), subsection (c) South Hilo, by adding Kino`ole Street, northeast side, beginning <br /> from a point 235 feet southeast of Haili Street and extending 63 feet in the southeasterly <br /> direction from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. <br /> This bill is necessary to address a request for a freight loading zone along Kino`ole Street to <br /> service the adjacent businesses. There were no testifiers on this item. <br /> Councilmember Ford requested Traffic Division Chief Ron Thiel to come forward and answer <br /> questions from members of your Committee.
