V OF of <br /> %p <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> T� OF.M/i <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF <br /> MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI -YEAR LEASE FOR ONE (1) COPIER FOR THE <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10 -11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or <br /> other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of <br /> more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi -year lease agreement for <br /> five (5) years, for one (1) multifunctional copier for the Department of Parks and Recreation's <br /> Kona Coordinated Services for the Elderly, at the Hawaii Civic Center, as their current copier <br /> is a 2003 model, nearing the end of its useful life, and in need of replacement; and <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease <br /> agreement for one (1) copier for the Department of Parks and Recreation. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br /> anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this copier shall be leased for a period of five (5) <br /> years at a cost not to exceed $500 per month, plus an amount not to exceed $0.03 for <br /> each black and white copy, and $0.08 per color copy. <br />
