COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII •. 4 r1 OF V; BILL NO. 20 ORDINANCE NO. 11 3i AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 8, division 3, section 24 -210 (hours of freight loading zones; schedule), subsection (a), of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended to read as follows: (a) The provisions regarding freight [cab] loading zones shall be applicable only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. Re] and 4:00 p.m. of any day, except Sundays and public holidays[.-], unless otherwise described in schedule 36, section 24 -288. When the provisions are not in effect, vehicles may park in freight [e-ub] loading zones unless otherwise prohibited by this chapter. SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and stricken material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
