'FT OF • MF ,.1 . <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 66 11 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE HAWAII COUNTY COUNCIL <br /> REPRESENTATIVE AND ALTERNATE REPRESENTATIVE TO THE EXECUTIVE <br /> COMMITTEE OF THE HAWAII STATE ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES. <br /> WHEREAS, the bylaws of the Hawai`i State Association of Counties, Inc., (HSAC) <br /> under the title OFFICERS, Section 5 item (1) states "Prior to April 15 of each year, each council <br /> shall appoint one of its members to serve as an officer of the corporations for the term <br /> commencing the immediate following July 1. "; and <br /> WHEREAS, the term of each officer shall begin on July 1 immediately following the <br /> annual meeting at which elected and end on June 30 of the subsequent year; and <br /> WHEREAS, HSAC bylaws further state that each council shall designate an alternate to <br /> the member serving as an officer of the corporation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the HSAC Executive Committee in its meeting of April 8, 2011 requested <br /> the respective County Councils to submit their appointments in sufficient time for the HSAC <br /> Executive Committee meeting of May 13, 2011; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Council Member K. Angel Pilago and Council Member Brittany Smart are hereby designated <br /> Representative and Alternate Representative, respectively, to the Executive Committee of the <br /> Hawai`i State Association of Counties effective July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. <br />
