As a result of this action the kokua <br /> zone that allows for the County of Hawai`i Hele -on bus service to be free to its riders will expire on <br /> June 30, 2011. Fees for the Hele -on bus will then return to their much higher, pre -kokua zone rates. <br /> As a result of this unintended consequence of the May 17, 2011 Council vote I will be making a motion to <br /> reconsider the action taken on Bill No. 51, draft 2, at the June 1, 2011 meeting of the Hawai`i County Council. <br /> Should my motion for reconsideration be passed by the Council, Bill 51, draft 2 would be live on the floor at <br /> second and final reading. Therefore, I am requesting Bill 51, draft 2 be placed on the June 1, 2011 Council <br /> agenda under "Other Business ". <br /> I am submitting this request pursuant to Rule No. 15 of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council <br /> of the County of Hawai`i. <br /> Thank you for your consideration in this matter <br /> Comm.
