The establishment of improvement districts and making of special <br /> improvements requires the involvement of various county departments, including the <br /> department of public works, department of water supply, department of environmental <br /> management and department of finance. <br /> The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the chapter to align and coordinate the <br /> respective responsibilities and involvement of these various county departments with <br /> respect to improvement districts and to clarify and revise certain provisions relating to <br /> such responsibilities.
