The proposed amendment is illustrated <br /> below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill 29, Draft 3 and is bolded <br /> for emphasis. <br /> 1. A new section 8 will be added to read as follows: <br /> 2. "SECTION 8. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed <br /> to apply all savings realized in the 2011 -2012 fiscal year from the 2011- <br /> 2013 negotiated contracts with the State of Hawai`i Organization of <br /> Police Officers, Hawaii Fire Fighters Association and United Public <br /> Works unions to Post - employment Benefits, GASB 45 Provisions <br /> account number 010.901.5902.09. The Director of Finance shall <br /> transmit to the Council any amendments to this ordinance that may be <br /> necessary for the administration to comply with this section. <br /> 3.
