BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that pursuant to <br /> Chapter 2, Article 31, Section 2 -165 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), a <br /> Sister -City program be established between the County of Hawai`i and the good people of Ormoc City, <br /> Philippines; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforementioned agreements will be duly signed by the <br /> appropriate officials of Ormoc City and the County of Hawai`i within six (6) months of the approval of <br /> this resolution. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk transmit copies of this <br /> resolution to the Honorable Mayor William P. Kenoi; to the Honorable Mayor Eric Codilla <br /> of Ormoc City, Philippines; Jane Clement, President of COVO; the Kona Visayan Club, Hilo Visayan <br /> Club and Charmaine Shigemura, County of Hawai`i Sister City Protocol Officer. <br />
