service agreement citing agreed responsibilities for the County of Hawai`i, and the sister -city <br />sponsors, Congress of Visayan Organzations (COVO), Kona Visayan Club and HiloVisayan <br />Club; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 31, Section 2 -165 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 <br />Edition, as amended), a Sister -City program be established between the County of Hawaii and <br />the good people of Ormoc City, Philippines; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforementioned agreements will be duly <br />signed by the appropriate officials of Ormoc City and the County of Hawai`i within six (6) <br />months of the approval of this resolution. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk transmit copies of this <br />resolution to the Honorable Mayor William P.
