Exhibit B <br />2011 Citizen Participation Process <br />& CDBG/HOME Action Plan Schedule <br />DATE TASK <br />10/11/10 Public Notice appears in newspapers, <br />announcing the public hearing dates and <br />locations. Public hearings were held to hear <br />the Housing & Community Development needs and <br />explain the CDBG/HOME proposal procedure and <br />Action Plan process. <br />10/19-21/10 Public Hearings: The County conducted public <br />hearings in Honoka'a, Kona, Pahala, Pahoa, <br />and Hilo to seek community input on the <br />approved priorities and possible projects for <br />HUD funding. The group went over the <br />County's 2010-2014 Consolidated Plan and <br />priorities. <br />10/22/10 CDBG/HOME project proposals available. <br />01/06/11 CDBG/HOME project proposals due to the <br />OHCD. <br />01/06-28/11 OHCD reviewed, ranked, and selected CDBG/HOME <br />projects for the County's Action Plan to HUD. <br />01/31-2/11/11 <br />OHCD drafted the County's proposed Action <br />Plan. <br />02/22-03/24/11 <br />30 -Day Comment Period: On 2/22/11, the OHCD <br />published a public notice soliciting comments <br />on the proposed 2011 Action Plan. <br />03/29/11 <br />Deadline to submit documents for Hawai i <br />County Housing Agency (HCHA) meeting. <br />04/05/11 <br />Hawaii County Housing Agency Meeting: The <br />public has an opportunity to comment on the <br />draft 2011 Action Plan at the Hawaii County <br />Housing Agency (HCHA) meeting and the HCHA <br />approves the 2011 Action Plan. <br />04/12/11 Deadline to submit documents for Hawai i <br />County Council meeting. <br />04/20/11 Hawai i County Council Meeting: The public <br />has an opportunity to comment on the draft <br />2011 Action Plan at the Hawaii County <br />Council meeting. <br />2046hnmf <br />
