N + - `i ce '. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII * STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 51 <br /> I 62 ( nRAFr 2) <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18, ARTICLE 4, OF THE HAWAI`I COUNTY <br /> CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PUBLIC TRANSIT <br /> SYSTEM, ISLAND -WIDE FARE STRUCTURE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Purpose. To amend Article 4, Public Transit System, Island -Wide Fare <br /> Structure, of the Hawai`i County Code. The amendment of this article will establish a $1.00 <br /> cash fare for riders of the Hele -On bus system. Children under the age of five, senior citizens, <br /> individuals with disabilities and students will be able to ride free of charge; and for all other <br /> riders, a discount of twenty -five percent will be provided on a fare pre - payment program <br /> utilizing bus passes or bus tickets. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 18, article 4, Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as <br /> amended), is amended to read as follows: <br /> "Article 4. Public Transit System. <br /> Division 1. Island -Wide Fare Structure. <br /> Section 18 -90.
