Ford, Council Member <br /> SUBJECT: Rescission of Motion for Public Hearings for Bill No. 17, Draft 2, Plastic Bag <br /> Reduction. <br /> During the March 2, 2011, Hawai`i County Council meeting, Bill No. 17, Draft 2, was postponed <br /> for public hearings to take place over a six month time period beginning in June of this year. <br /> I request that Bill No. 17, Draft 2, be placed on the agenda under "Other Business" for the <br /> Hawai`i County Council meeting scheduled for July 7, 2011. <br /> I anticipate making a motion to rescind the motion for public hearing that was approved on <br /> March 2, 2011 as I believe the motion was dilatory.
